Although just over 2 years old, we are very proud of and grateful for the high praise our program has received from students, families, and many special needs state workers and community-based providers! At their request and urging, we have set our sites on growing, so that more eager special needs individuals can explore, discover, enjoy and nurture their creative talents through Jubilation Creations®.
In October 2010, we were granted 501(c)3, Non-Profit Corporation status by the IRS, and have already embarked on the ambitious and necessary journey towards winning grants and raising funds to help us grow. With many parents already equesting, we hope to expand into some local schools, and offer our classes as on-site, after school programs. We hope to eventually have Art, Recreational and Occupational therapists on our staff, so that we may add in helpful and goal-oriented skill sets to our large choice of craft projects. In addition, we are looking into providing some of our services for home-bound individuals as well.
We recently were asked by the Samost Jewish Family & Child Services, (www.jfcssnj.org) to do periodic Arts & Crafts classes for their new, 2 day a week Day Program, called TOPS, (To Our Positive Success). Both the TOPS attendees and the Jubilation Creations staff are thoroughly enjoying our partnership! We are pleased to have been accepted via grant funding to continue regular classes at the TOPS program.
Interested in what we do? Would you like us in your child's school sometime soon? Please contact us! We'd be happy to talk with you about setting up classes for your local community needs!
